The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will hold three public hearings, the first of them Monday, Jan. 7 in Georgetown, as part of Governor Jack Markellâ€™s effort to strengthen Delawareâ€™s economy by modernizing and streamlining regulations that may be outdated or unnecessarily burdensome, while maintaining the stateâ€™s commitment to improving public health and environmental performance.
In addition to participating in the public hearings, members of the public are also encouraged to submit comments in writing â€“ they may be mailed to: Regulatory Comments Office of the Secretary DNREC 89 Kings Highway Dover, DE 19901 Comments also may be submitted via an online submission form located http://www.dnrec.delaware.gov. Comments relative to EO 36 will be accepted through March 1, 2013.
