On June 2, 2010, EPA strengthened the NAAQS for SO2, by adding a new standard of 75 parts per billion. Sections 110(a) and Section 110(a)(2) of the CAA require States to submit to the EPA Administrator a SIP that provides for implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of a newly promulgated or revised NAAQS. The proposed SIP document discusses how meets each requirement of Section 110(a)(2)(A)-(M) of the CAA for the 2010 SO2 NAAQS.
The proposed SIP revision will also be published in the April 1, 2013 issue of the Delaware Register of Regulations, and can be viewed after publication at http://regulations.delaware.gov/register/april2013/. A public hearing will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Kent County Administrative Complex, Room 220, 555 South Bay Road, Dover, DE.
