In FY 16 the Bond Bill (Section 93 Revenues) authorized DNREC to propose an increase in user fees "following adequate opportunity for public comment and the approval of the appropriate public advisory council(s) and Secretary". This open house will allow the Division of Parks and Recreation to share information and seek public input.
Sessions will be held in all three counties: December 2nd - Cape Henlopen State Park - Officer's Club December 4th - Bellevue State Park - Bellevue Hall December 9th - Killens Pond State Park - Nature Center ; This is a public open house to allow for information exchange and public comment. The Division will be hosting two information sessions (from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) to accomodate the schedules of park visitors. During these times, Division staff will be available to answer questions and share information.
