Public Workshop/Open House in Conjunction with Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC)
Regarding the multi-use trail facility, interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of or in opposition to the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop/open house or can be mailed to DelDOT Public Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903. This location is accessible to persons having disabilities. Any person having special needs or requiring special aid, such as an interpreter, is requested to contact DelDOT by phone or mail a week in advance. ; The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) invites the public to attend a public workshop/open house to receive information about a conceptual design in constructing a multi-use paved path that will be situated along Yorklyn Road. The anticipated project limits will be begin at the NVF redevelopment site and end approximately at Yorkridge Trail and Spring House Lane driveway connections. Future phases will extend the multi-use path further west along Yorklyn Road.The proposed path is a component of the Master Plan for the recreation, conservation, and redevelopment that is on-going within the Auburn Valley area. DNREC representatives will be in attendance as the sponsors of this multi-use path and other key components of the Master Plan effort. Updates to the Master Plan are part of this public workshop/open house forum. Attendees will have an opportunity to review display materials and provide comments to DelDOT and DNREC representatives.
