The facility will consist of five 10 MW and five 2.5 MW natural gas fired reciprocating engines. MTC has proposed to control emissions from the engines using Selective Catalytic Reduction (“SCRâ€) and oxidation catalysts (“OxyCatâ€) . These air contaminant control devices will reduce emissions from the engines generated from the combustion of natural gas. The project will also contain a counter flow cooling tower. The proposed location of the project is 350 Auto Park Drive, Middletown.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide information on the proposed project and describe DAQ’s federally enforceable permitting process. Following the workshop, DAQ will proceed with scheduling a public hearing at a subsequent date to receive comments on the application and draft permit.More information can be found at the following website: http://www.dnrec.delaware.gov/Air/Pages/Middletown-Technology-Center.aspx ; Call Meeting to Order Introductions Discuss Agenda Discuss Path Forward Review Agreements Adjourn
