The Delaware State Review Board for Historic Preservation serves as the advisory body to the state historic preservation officer, the official appointed by the governor to oversee and implement the state's preservation policies in accordance with federal standards. As part of its responsibilities, the State Review Board evaluates historic properties for placement in the National Register of Historic Places, and provides professional advice on historic preservation matters.
The meeting will include review of nominations to the National Register for the Taylors Bridge School in New Castle County and the Richard Allen School in Georgetown. Following the National Register presentations, the meeting will include an update on the State Historic Preservation Plan for 2018--2022, and a review of changes to the Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program. In accordance with the Delaware Freedom of Information Act, this meeting is open to the public and copies of the minutes will be made available upon request in accordance with the law. Written comments should be submitted prior to the meeting date. Oral comments and questions will be invited during the meeting.
