Public Hearing for Perdue Foods Permit Reissuance Application

Meeting Description  MEETING DESCRIPTION
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, (Department) will conduct a public hearing on Perdue Foods, LLC reissuance application to discharge treated process wastewater, sanitary wastewater, boiler blowdown and storm water from their Georgetown facility. The purpose of the hearing is to provide the public an opportunity to comment on the aforementioned permit application, and will include presentation from DNREC staff.
Persons wishing to comment on the applications and draft permit may do so either orally or in written form at the public hearing on November 27, 2018. In lieu of attending the public hearing, written comment may be submitted to the Hearing Officer via either email to Lisa.Vest@state.de.us or via USPS to the following address: Lisa A.
