The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) would like to invite the residents and businesses of Newark and surrounding areas and all other interested parties to a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the rehabilitation of Main Street and pedestrian improvements in Newark.
The Public Informational Meeting will be held from 4 PM until 7 PM on Monday, March 4, 2019, in the City Council Chambers at the Newark Municipal Building, 220 South Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed schedule and impacts of the construction to the surrounding roadways, businesses, and communities. Project team members will be in attendance to give an overview of the anticipated schedule and phasing, and also answer questions.
